The Photo and Postcard Library Index is divided into States and then Counties in the progression the Cumberland / National Road was built. The Road started in Cumberland, MD - Allegany Co. and then progressed westward. Maryland is further divided by Federal Road construction to the west and Private Turnpike development to the east of Cumberland, MD.
