The National Highway
With Pinciple Connections East and West Forming the Best Route Between
New York and Chicago

Last Update: March 16, 2011

The National Highway Map, circa 1929, was contributed by Bill Holmes in the memory of his father, Charles W. Holmes of Claysville, Pa, (1903-1983).

Bill's father traveled from Washington, PA to Washington, DC often during the late 1920s to early 1930s. The map is from his father's personal papers.

Thanks for sharing the map with us Bill. ~ Steve
